Omamori From Japan is an independent store based in Tokyo that brings authentic shrine and temple omamori to customers who cannot visit Japan in person.

Why We Started

Omamori From Japan started with a simple goal: to bring a piece of Japanese culture to people who might never get the chance to experience it firsthand. Omamori felt like the right place to start — they're one of the most quietly meaningful objects in everyday Japanese life, carried by millions of people, yet still largely unfamiliar outside Japan. We wanted to change that, and to do it in a way that respects where these charms actually come from.

What We Do Differently

Every omamori listed on this site is an item actually issued by the shrine or temple named on its product page — we don't manufacture, modify, or reproduce shrine items. We order directly from the shrines themselves, and currently work with 6–8 shrines and temples across Japan.

Our Approach to Authenticity

Omamori From Japan is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any shrine or temple. Omamori are culturally and spiritually significant items, and we take that responsibility seriously.

Every product listing clearly states the shrine or temple associated with the item. We do not make medical claims, promise guaranteed results, or suggest that an omamori can replace professional advice or treatment.

Any cultural or historical information provided on our website is for educational purposes and is written with respect for the traditions behind each item.

Where We Are Based

Omamori From Japan operates from Ginza, Tokyo. All orders are carefully packaged in Japan and shipped internationally using tracked delivery.
